This Privacy Policy explains how Linkty handles information when you use the app and website.

Information we collect

Linkty is designed to minimize data collection. The app may store links, tags, notes, and related metadata directly on your device so that core functionality works as intended.

How information is used

Information stored by the app is used to provide the main product experience, including saving links, organizing content, filtering by tags, and displaying your library.

Analytics

Linkty uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand aggregate, anonymous usage (for example, which features are used and how often). TelemetryDeck is designed not to collect personally identifying information and does not track you across other apps or websites.

When you add a link, the app fetches preview information (such as the title, description, and image) by requesting it directly from that link’s website. For some services — including X (Twitter), YouTube, TikTok, and Reddit — previews are retrieved from those providers’ public embed endpoints. These requests are sent to the respective third parties and are subject to their own privacy practices.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Aside from the analytics and link-preview requests described above, your links, tags, and notes stay on your device and are not shared with us or third parties unless you choose to export them.

Data retention

Data remains on your device unless you choose to export or remove it. You can delete app content at any time from within the app.

Children’s privacy

Linkty is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
